Who I am

Collings Made is the trading name of Simon Collings, a sole trader based in Staines-upon-Thames. If you have any questions about your data, email simon@collingsmade.co.uk.

What I collect and why

When you send an enquiry I receive your name, email address, postcode, any phone number, the details you give about your space and any photos you attach. I use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if we go ahead, to design, quote for and carry out your project.

How it's kept

The website doesn't store your enquiry. It's sent straight to my email. I keep enquiry details for 12 months if a project doesn't go ahead, and client records for as long as I need to for accounts and guarantees, usually six years.

I don't sell or share your details. Project drawings may go to suppliers that cut the boards or do any spray finishing, but without your contact details.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time by emailing me. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, how they find it and which pages they look at. That helps me understand what's useful and what isn't. I don't use advertising cookies, and I don't use the information to identify you.

Google Analytics only sets its cookies if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or don't choose, none are set. Google processes the data on my behalf, under its own privacy policy.
