In a small space, coat hooks are always a compromise: useful when you need them, in the way when you don't. These fold completely flat against the wall. When you want one, you pull it out and hang your coat on it, and the rest stay out of the way.

Pull one out when you need it.

They're cut from 18 mm melamine coated birch ply, so the board looks good with every hook folded away. This one has eleven hooks, and I can make them to whatever length suits the wall.
